Theresa’s Sound World Music Blog Collection This music hit me straight away- I immediately detected how genuine and heartfelt the vocals sounded, fragile but strong (this is bearing in mind that there is so much ‘fake’ and insincere fragile-type music around at the moment). Musically, & from an arrangement point of view, each track has it’s own identity. There’s ones with pretty, luscious guitar, then a more noisier guitar on another track, vocals only & different instruments on others. With a different band/artist this might be inconsequential, however, with moan didion, you get distinctive tracks that stay with the listener who ends up craving repeat listens. Oh, and from a production point of view, a very warm ambience to the recording. Check it out

"no hooks" is an ep of five songs by me, & a mitski cover; the title is sort of a joke now because the songs mostly ended up being fairly hooky when at first they seemed like loose rambles to me. most of the titles are jokes, now that i think about it. anyway i used a lot of autotune because it's still 2010, actually, and autotune is still cool, actually,
